About these terms

PicklePulse is a mobile app for finding pickleball courts and sharing what they are like right now. It is operated by BePickleballer LLC. By using it you agree to these terms.

Who can use PicklePulse

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18 you need permission from a parent or guardian.

Your account

You can use PicklePulse without creating an account. We make an anonymous one for you when you first open the app, so you can start straight away, and you can save it later with an email address or with Sign in with Apple.

You are responsible for what happens through your account. If you share a device, do not check in or vote as someone else.

Honest check-ins

Other players act on what you report, so report what you actually see. We record how far you were from the court with every check-in, and accounts that repeatedly report on courts they are not at may be suspended.

What you post

When you share a check-in or suggest a court, you keep ownership of it and give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show it in the app. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share, or anything unlawful.

Sessions you log are private to you and are not shown to other players.

Memberships and payment

PicklePulse is free to use, and session logging is unlimited for all users. Some other features are part of a paid membership.

• Founding Member is a one-time payment, not a subscription. It does not renew and it does not expire.
• PicklePulse Pro is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel.

Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us, and charged to your App Store or Google Play account. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings, not in PicklePulse. Refunds are handled by whichever store you bought through, under their policies.

Founding Member includes every feature that is part of the paid membership, including ones added later. We are describing a direction rather than promising a fixed list: we cannot tell you today what the app will do in two years. What we commit to is that a Founding Member is never asked to pay again for something included in the paid membership.

Prices are shown in the app before you buy. We may change prices for future purchases, but never for a Founding Member membership already bought.

Notifications

If you opt in, we may send you notifications about court activity, votes on your check-ins, streak reminders, and check-in reminders. You can turn off any category in your profile.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. This permanently removes your profile, check-ins, sessions, votes, achievements, and push tokens, and it cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not refund a membership; refunds go through the store you bought from.

No warranty

PicklePulse is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that court information in the app is accurate, current, or complete. The app depends on players sharing what they see, and where nobody has reported recently it shows what a court is typically like rather than what it is like now. Check before you travel.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, BePickleballer LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PicklePulse.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do we will change the date at the top, and continuing to use PicklePulse means you accept the updated terms.
