Privacy policy.

BePickleballer LLC (“we,” “us”) operates the Pickle Pulse mobile application. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

Account data. When you first open Pickle Pulse, we create an anonymous account for you automatically so you can start using the app without any signup. If you later add an email to save your account across devices, we store that email. We do not store passwords.

Location. With your permission, we use your device's location to show you courts near you and to verify you are physically at a court when you check in. Your precise location is used only in real time and is never stored on our servers. Only the coordinates of your check in (the location you were at when you shared a court's status) are saved.

Check in content. When you check in to a court, we save what you shared: how busy the court is, how many players are waiting, your skill level of play, and any notes you add. This is visible to other users of the app so they know what to expect at that court.

Device information. For push notifications, we store your device's Expo push token. This is a random identifier that lets us send you notifications. It cannot be used to identify you personally.

Aggregate stats. As you use the app we track your check in count, helpful votes received, achievements, and streak. This is stored on your profile.

What we do not collect

• Your name, unless you choose to set a display name in your profile
• Your phone number
• Your address, contacts, photos, or any other data outside what is described above
• Any advertising identifiers
• Any behavior data beyond what is required to run the app

How we use it

• To show you nearby courts and their live conditions
• To verify you are at a court when you check in
• To let other players see current court activity
• To send you notifications you have opted into
• To recognize achievements you unlock

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data to build a profile for advertising.

Third parties we use

• Supabase (data storage and authentication)
• Railway (application hosting)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android push delivery)
• Apple Push Notification Service (iOS push delivery)
• Expo Push (notification routing)
• Google Maps SDK (rendering the map view)

These providers process your data only to operate the app. They do not use it for their own purposes.

Your rights

• Change your notification preferences at any time in Profile settings
• Change or remove your display name and skill level at any time in Profile settings
• Delete your account. This permanently removes your profile, check ins, votes, achievements, and push tokens. Go to Profile and tap Delete account. There is no way to recover a deleted account.

Children

Pickle Pulse is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
